Job Description

We are looking for a technically savvy Cybersecurity Project Coordinator to help VA manage cloud solutions.

Duties will include maintaining ongoing customer relationships and networking, managing and guiding complex technical projects to completion, identifying and implementing success programs, and leading a team of technical and functional experts to assess risk on critical IT assets.

Successful candidates must be analytical, personally engaging, possess an aptitude for learning and using new software, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal Cybersecurity Project Coordinator should be motivated by challenges and energized by helping our Veterans.

Keys to success in this position:
• Be able to effectively communicate to stakeholders including executives, technical resources, team members and VA employees. This includes owning communication for material project updates, escalations, etc.
• Possess a tenacious attitude for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers and stakeholders.
• Can organize competing priorities, tasks, and complex project requirements.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional group activities, track dependencies. Drive teams to meet schedules and goals.
• Look for ways to improve the customer experience.
• Guide technical discussions with stakeholders who have varying levels of knowledge.
• Can navigate customer, vendor, and federal organizational structures to identify and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Have a problem-solving mentality.
• Be able to work in accordance with federal policies and regulations.
• Must be motivated by learning and getting things done. We like to hustle; you should too.
• Have a strong desire to grow in your knowledge of security and compliance and a demonstrated ability to learn and understand complex processes (technical or otherwise).

Requirements:
• 5 years of relevant experience (Federal Government experience is helpful but not required).
• You must be an effective communicator with strong organization skills.
• You must be willing to hustle and accomplish lots of work.
• You must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a government clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline or 5 years of additional related experience is required.
